Privacy Policy

Your camera feed is nobody's business. Including ours.

LoopCam was built so that everything happens on your Mac. This page explains, plainly, what little data exists around the app, the website, and a Pro purchase, and where it lives.

Effective date: July 22, 2026

The short version

  • The LoopCam app makes zero network requests. No account, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no phone-home.
  • Your camera feed, microphone audio, and recordings are processed and stored only on your Mac. They are never uploaded anywhere.
  • This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
  • Pro purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles your payment details; we never see your card number.

1. The LoopCam app

LoopCam asks macOS for camera and microphone permission because showing, recording, and looping your camera is the entire point of the app. Everything it does with that access happens locally:

Because the app never talks to the network, we hold no usage data about you at all. We cannot see whether you opened the app, what you recorded, or when you looped.

2. This website

The LoopCam site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and contains no third-party embeds, with one exception: the Get Pro page loads Paddle's checkout script so that you can buy a license (see below).

Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server access logs (such as IP address, request time, and page requested) for security and operations, as virtually all web hosts do.

3. Buying LoopCam Pro

Checkout, payment, invoicing, and receipts are handled by Paddle, acting as merchant of record. When you buy, Paddle collects the information needed to process the sale, typically your name, email address, country, and payment details, under Paddle's privacy policy.

4. Support email

If you write to support.loopcam@tibeblabs.com (or reply to your license email), we will have your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to help you, and we keep the correspondence so we have context if you write again.

5. What we share, and with whom

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share data only with Paddle (to process purchases, as described above), with our email and hosting providers as needed to operate, or if the law requires it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you (for most people: nothing, or an email thread and a purchase record), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will honor deletion requests except where we must keep records for accounting, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons. For payment data, Paddle is the controller, and requests can also be made to Paddle directly.

To exercise any of these rights, email support.loopcam@tibeblabs.com.

7. Children

LoopCam and this website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Since the app makes no network requests, a policy change can never retroactively affect data from the app, because there isn't any.

9. Who we are

LoopCam is made by Kalkidan Bekalu Aleme, doing business as Tibeb Labs, Chicago, Illinois, United States.
